We are registered and affiliated with the Royal Academy of Dance Board examination board that specializes in dance education and training with emphasis on classical ballet. More information on the Royal Academy of Dance can be found by clicking on the link below<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examination Information, Costing & Comms <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 There are additional fees when it comes to examinations. Such as the entry fee, costume hire, purchasing of Character shoes for RAD Grade 1 – RAD Grade 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 A full cost breakdown can be found below for 2024 – please note the fees are not set by the studio they are set by the Royal Academy of Dance and have a 10% increase annually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 An 85% \u2013 100% attendance is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 NO ENTRY FEE – NO exam. Entry fees as broken down above need to be paid upfront, the studio WILL NOT cover any students exam entry fees. If the fees are not given in by a certain date your child WILL NOT participate in the examination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Haleigh van Rooyen has full authority to withdraw any candidate who fails to attend 80% of the rehearsal when preparing for Exams <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 There are 2 exam sessions a year (March, June \/July and September to November)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Exam candidates are soloist, duets, trios and quartets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Candidates will be entered in for an examination or a class award <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Examination groups are chosen by Haleigh van Rooyen and no changes will be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Examination are done through the Royal Academy of Dance and done internally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 The dates given for the exams or class awards are determined by the Royal Academy of Dance Board and NOT the studio<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 ALL Communication for examinations is done via BAND and WHATSAPP PAGE ONLY<\/p>\n\n\n\n
