Any points that need clarification please direct them in writing to Haleigh van Rooyen via email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7cbab7b187005142598477257947a172 wp-block-paragraph\">These regulations are in place to ensure the safety of students, maintain a clean studio space and help the functioning of the studio in an effective manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-51d266a5bf66f2b9d1043c70145a1fce is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1fec3c1df50ec5bacccfc6988ca085db wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 All students are allowed 1 free trail class a year thereafter enrolment on a permanent basis<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 A completed registration form is required when participating in classes. Failure to complete the registration form results in NO class attendance &#8211; applicable to new students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 There is an annual registration fee per family this is payable via eft or cash (if paying cash ensure money is placed in a sealed envelope, with the amount enclosed, handed to Haleigh van Rooyen) on the day of registration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Re-registration per family for current students is payable at the start of each year via eft or cash (if paying cash ensure money is in a sealed envelope, with the amount enclosed, handed to Haleigh van Rooyen) or if your account was closed and you would like to re-activate your account.&nbsp;Please note existing students have a rolling contract that renews each year unless notice is received. Renewal of your contract in the new year automatically confirms your acceptance of Battu Bris\u00e9\u2019s Terms &amp; Conditions, including indemnity and any updates or changes made to the Terms &amp; Conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-81837c7be28f081897177cba1752cc55 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Paper contracts and digital contracts that are signed are equally as binding. All Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio contracts are legally binding. The studio does not operate on fixed-term agreements of 6, 12, or 18 months. Instead, all contracts are rolling contracts, as has been the policy since the studio\u2019s inception. This means that the agreement remains in effect continuously until proper written notice is given in accordance with the studio\u2019s official notice procedures.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9ac00cf961d1ea846fe5a532228b76c6 wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-82997b4cb49396cc4c4ac454a984e8e6 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>CANELLATION<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d8d9cc0f4aeb6bc447ab73a7c4b737f wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 If you wish to terminate your enrolment <strong>1 FULL calendar months\u2019 notice<\/strong> is to be given in writing via email &amp; complete the opt-out form, along with that month&#8217;s fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-650410cdda9d7cd4a896f8b0cb1a0461 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 No phone calls, verbal messages, SMS\u2019s, WhatsApp\u2019s, Band Messages or messages on our website will be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Termination of enrolment at Battu Brise requires 1 FULL calendar months\u2019 notice and fees for the notice month any outstanding fees to be paid in FULL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-372703976636c02f7ff233855e5a4bbd wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Termination at the end of the year: notice to be given in November. If notice is not given in November you are required to complete your notice period in January of the next year. The &#8220;opting-out&#8221; form needs to be completed to begin your termination of enrolment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Failure to read or respond to emails, WhatsApp messages, Band messages, or other official communications does not exempt you from payment obligations. Non\u2011communication does not constitute cancellation of your account. You remain liable until proper written notice and the opt\u2011out form are submitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5cf26cd6439bba3c157e4d181f48adc8 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>FEES, ADDITIONAL FEES &amp; PAYMENTS<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a782962ccbb029aecd461cf5351a0e6c wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 All invoices\/accounts will be emailed before the end of the month \u2013 please ensure you have given a valid email address, both parents details and email addresses are required for children, preteen and teens. If email address change or the inbox is full please provide an additional email address for the accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Fees are payable monthly and up front \u2013 payment is due no later than the 5th of the month &#8211; Class fees are paid strictly in advance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d858ef8d14b8fbbd31315b9aa0823858 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Fees work like school fees, subscriptions or any club or gym memberships<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-08c0a64e3d8b6df5260120b8352f0613 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Parents, Guardians and or Students are still financially responsible for the reserved classes regardless of attendance. Failure to inform us of non-attendance does not waive this responsibility. All communications regarding class attendance or concerns should be directed to Haleigh van Rooyen and not to the class teacher. You are welcome to contact Haleigh van Rooyen via WhatsApp for any issues or queries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"> \u2022 Fees are payable via EFT, CARD or CASH<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"> \u2022 If you are paying in cash, please ensure you have the Dancers full name and surname written on an enclosed envelope as well as the enclosed amount. Fees will not be accepted if it is not enclosed in an envelope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Late fees will result in an additional&nbsp;<strong>R400&nbsp;<\/strong>penalty&#8217;s fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Accounts that are 2 months late will be handed over for collection, the outstanding account holder will be liable for the expense incurred for this service.<\/strong> The student will be SUSPEND with immediate effect!  If fees are still not paid after the suspension the student will have their enrollment with the studio cancelled and the account will be handed over as mentioned above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 No refunds on classes missed or cancelled by students, parents or guardians 24 hours prior to class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Students\u2019 classes will be suspended until all outstanding fees are settled in full. We reserve the right to refuse to teach a student\/ child should their account be in arrears. Battu Bris\u00e9 reserves the right to refuse service, or ask any student to leave the school, at the owners\u2019 discretion, with or without cause. Dance schools are regulated by Consumer Protection BC and must abide by the regulations set out in the Consumer Protection Act. <br><br>Suspended students may not participate in classes and if they arrive for class they will be asked to sit and watch the class or leave. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Battu Bris\u00e9 works on a 12 months calendar and a 4-term year. Fees are payable in December and January as it is a 12 month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 There are NO classes in the school holiday or on public holidays \u2013 unless make up lessons are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022If my child cannot attend class\/classes, am I still obligated to pay for the entire month? Yes, all classes must be paid for, even if not attended.  No fees or part of fees will be refunded due to missed lessons&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-de2a626d276e33af2de30d445e9943e4 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Take note there is an annual increase in fees that comes into effect on 1 January<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Monthly fees must be paid <strong>punctually and in full<\/strong> by the specified deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Non\u2011payment of fees by the due date will result in pupils being prohibited from attending classes until outstanding amounts are settled.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Parents are required to ensure that all invoices (outlining monthly costs) and all statements (reflecting payments received) are properly received, reviewed, and retained as proof of payment.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e92ea756827ba65c8d30697eb9180565 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Banking Details for Battu Bris\u00e9<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fb031acb779425686620a83e9384cd51 wp-block-paragraph\">Bank: First National Bank<br>Account Name: Battu Brise PYT LTD<br>Account Number: 62929230069<br>Branch: Northgate<br>Reference:\u00a0<strong>Students Name and Surname<\/strong><br>Email address for Reference: accounts@battubrise.com<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e98a5d53f8de90313473b95ae4db63f2 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>ADDITIONAL FEES<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-34c816c800ede9e774711b97cbc53842 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 There are additional fees when it comes to examinations, concerts, festivals and competitions. There is a costume hire fee, as well as a hair and make-up if I (Haleigh van Rooyen) am asked to do hair and make-up. This is a restocking fee. This must be communicated well in advance, if assistance is needed for hair and make-up please ensure you contact Haleigh well in advance to ensure that a slot is booked for you via the google forms booking form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"> \u2022 Additional fees will be invoiced for extra classes for exams, competitions, festivals and year- end shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Communication for these events will be given in advance by Haleigh van Rooyen. It is the responsibility of the parents or persons in charge of the account to notify Haleigh van Rooyen in writing via email by a given date if you do not or can not participate in the above-described events. Failure to inform Haleigh van Rooyen will result in the parents or persons in charge of the account being held liable for the fees invoiced for any concerts, shows, exams or festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8b8690074180978c07be9a38856d4edd wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Props and costume hire fees will be charged per outfit per performance<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2aca238daf438a7a47377c281b528de7 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>ACCOUNT FREEZING POLICY<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d50c323e2cb0659b8df9896ca997450c wp-block-paragraph\">If a student is unable to attend classes for an extended period, their account may be frozen for a maximum of <strong>two consecutive months<\/strong> under the following strict conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b9f99ed007a3812a4be7392634060d74 wp-block-paragraph\">Medical freezes require supporting documentation and are subject to approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0f5f1ca53407af1791fdb5dd4b865afe wp-block-paragraph\">All requests to freeze an ongoing account must be submitted in writing via email to <strong>info@battubrise.com<\/strong> no later than <strong>seven (7) calendar days prior to the commencement of the next billing cycle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requests submitted after the billing cycle has begun, or requests made for the purpose of avoiding payment obligations, or while a student is undecided about continuing, <strong>will not be accepted<\/strong>. Such circumstances do not qualify for account freezing, and billing will proceed as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-99682ebb82310fb49d1406d03ae96cae wp-block-paragraph\">Failure to comply with this policy will result in full liability for fees due under the agreed billing cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If no specific duration is indicated in the written request, the account will be frozen for <strong>one (1) full calendar month<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the initial month, the account will automatically be placed under <strong>review for a second month<\/strong>, after which billing will resume unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Termination During Freeze<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accounts may <strong>not<\/strong> be terminated while frozen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should a termination request be submitted during a freeze period, the account holder remains obligated to provide <strong>one (1) full calendar month\u2019s written notice<\/strong> and to settle all fees due for that notice period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment Liability<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Failure to comply with this policy will result in full liability for fees due under the agreed billing cycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Freezing an account does not exempt the account holder from fulfilling contractual obligations, including notice and payment requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bd5593bda5b60228a3c121e8c42f5e0a wp-block-paragraph\">The request must include <strong>proof of payment of a R100.00 freeze administration fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-badbfff2734cd9cbb0ac571996b3f60f wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No freeze will be processed without this payment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9875c4f89ec4010fd875fa82e94a13bf wp-block-paragraph\">Payment must be made to the studio\u2019s standard banking details with the reference: <em>[Student Name] \u2013 Freeze Request<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9829b7bbbd14ba34b913f1a2025bf32b wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Outstanding balances must be paid in full<\/strong> before the freeze is approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4cae0652962582a9d665212665e013e4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>During the freeze:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-113461bb98c9088b055dc2f72c95c886 wp-block-paragraph\">No new fees will be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a1ec822c75cf1f4e573a1237d290b89a wp-block-paragraph\">The student forfeits their class spot unless a confirmed return date is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a4e67bc1520ccc68e5d146cf93216af9 wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in studio events, rehearsals, or performances is not permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ca2f70f78a8b2dd9efc2e374ac42b610 wp-block-paragraph\">If no return date is provided within the two-month freeze period, the account will be reviewed before termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a60d704bc751da81b67a701d7b75d4b5 wp-block-paragraph\">Re-enrolment will require a <strong>new registration<\/strong> and payment of the <strong>standard registration fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3784d046c36aefa192299a96064c12f0 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freezing is permitted once per calendar year<\/strong>, unless due to a documented medical emergency.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6226fb7212e75b58653c3b5e1fb8288a is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>LATE COMMUNICATION POLICY<\/strong> &#8211; BILLING &amp; FREEZING<\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-956a550cb965c9e0a58791ce2eecd7f1 wp-block-paragraph\">If a freeze request is received <strong>after the billing cycle has already begun<\/strong>, the account will remain <strong>active and fully billable<\/strong> for that month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cc1fa069fc9b40925fe9778fc35fd2ce\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a95a5053265effc822d4de383498bb0c\"><strong>No retroactive freezes will be granted.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a9dad588ab71f2378189856b46c7e93d\">The student remains liable for all fees invoiced prior to the freeze request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6926635ebf98b528e8b0d9e65169d937\">The freeze will only take effect <strong>from the following billing cycle<\/strong>, provided all conditions above are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ea29ece82076a6527aeb47c3b819d458 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No exceptions will be made.<\/strong> This policy ensures fairness to all clients and protects the studio\u2019s operational integrity.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-924448c7f82d24039d0b2cc1d6e5ec50 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>END OF YEAR SHOWCASES, FESTIVALS, CONCERTS &amp; COMPETITIONS<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b2b5b89f84cea3fbc687143224279f1a wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 There are additional fees when it comes to concerts, festivals and competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-af19b741e49fff88351537f340cf49ac wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 All students need to complete the commitment form to confirm they will or will not be participating in concerts, showcases, competitions and festivals. By completing and digitally signing you are agreeing to the commitment and costing involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong><em>Any and all Entry Fees for Exams or competitions need to be paid up front and in full &#8211; No entry fee no participation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 There is a costume hire fee. The costume hire fee is paid in advance. No fees paid no costume. <br>All costumes rented from Battu Bris\u00e9 must be returned in good condition after each performance. Failure to do so will result in &#8220;damage&#8221; fees being added to your account. Any missing accessories will be added to the account as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-64f326a1c5beec690954d69d79e10a5c wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Please note if students do not have the correct stockings a hired pair from the studio will be lent to the student along with ballet shoes &#8211;these items will be charged separately to costume hire. if these items are damaged in any way by the student, it is the students responsibility to replace or pay the full amount for the item to be replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Hair and make-up fee is charged if I (Haleigh van Rooyen) am asked to do hair and make-up. This is a restocking fee. By enrolling at Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio, clients agree to the following terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cf5f92aa80e9fdea10d41f56bf82b9f2\"><strong>Non-Attendance<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e3b5a6abf3d303c30b689c159579270e\">Fees are charged for all scheduled classes, whether or not the student attends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4577dc1774823a0cb32b428ef08c44ad\">Absences due to illness, travel, personal commitments, or other reasons do not exempt the student from payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-42eb271518708bce0ebee284d8a54d78\">The studio is not obligated to offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for missed sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7f8c25722d114e635f82a585934440da\"><strong>Substitute Teachers<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-aa87f0399ef3190eee3268b7b4648bdc\">If the regular instructor is unavailable, a qualified substitute will be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5f3f65e45f00e2b73b3f366b2b3ceaca\">Substitute-led classes are considered fulfilled and billable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4a0bd044202cfcabae39de36bc6d0f70\">Refusal to attend a class due to a substitute does not qualify for a refund or credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-25c368122e39cb819fca97189171f5a0\"><strong>Studio Fulfilment Clause<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e38e56eeab637261d28be93d73c5c8ee\">The studio\u2019s responsibility is to provide a scheduled class with a qualified instructor in a safe, professional environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f1b51f0f86a919c967eee0f865ca7661\">Once this obligation is met, the class is considered delivered\u2014regardless of individual attendance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ad8a5b7d2948f6e54a1a9ce562b4455a\">Class content may vary based on instructor availability, student needs, or curriculum adjustments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c04d3bc0298e04567cc0ddedf73a2cac\"><strong>Performance &amp; Rehearsal Attendance<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ce4aded94d2e2f16ce93cf2390cca27a\">Students who miss multiple classes or rehearsals may be removed from performance pieces at the discretion of the studio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d83507648d4fa5dceccc34c45c3b0cf9\">No refunds will be issued for performance fees if removal is due to non-attendance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e070aedb21ac550018638069b5fea65d wp-block-paragraph\">Teacher Substitution &amp; Curriculum Flexibility<br><strong>Instructor &amp; Curriculum Adjustments<\/strong><br>The studio reserves the right to assign substitute teachers or adjust class content as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5060732c3250b101b1599755f0964166 wp-block-paragraph\">These changes do not affect billing or class validity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-23dd0c9fb3c9954e55b9252578b84978 wp-block-paragraph\">All instructors are qualified and vetted by the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-72b141113d8aff0a2766fa2f47f4e55e wp-block-paragraph\">Curriculum may be adapted based on student needs, performance schedules, or studio priorities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regrettably, parents are not permitted to observe classes during the regular term. Opportunities to watch and record pupils will be provided at <strong>mock examinations, festivals, and other competitions<\/strong> where performances are showcased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This policy ensures that classes remain focused, uninterrupted, and conducive to learning, while still allowing parents meaningful opportunities to celebrate their child\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7fd515279a594f05d869a624f4be3e15 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>DANCE ATTIRE POLICY<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-beb12c7f3a256120dca6554716cb1cd7 wp-block-paragraph\">At Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio, we uphold a strict policy regarding appropriate dance attire to maintain a professional and consistent image of our studio and to ensure the safety and comfort of our students. By adhering to this policy, students represent our studio with pride before, during, and after their classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3f38d28195204d4c52e5899c7ee2b2ba\"><strong>Required Attire<\/strong>: All students must wear the designated dance attire appropriate for their specific class. This includes leotards, tights, ballet shoes, or any other specified clothing as outlined by the instructor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-13e01f48b937ca755d515891739bbe87\"><strong>Personal Grooming<\/strong>: Hair must be neatly secured and away from the face. Jewelry, except small stud earrings, is not permitted during classes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6b1985720c8a342e54c7da5e6b742b00\"><strong>Inappropriate Attire<\/strong>: Any student dressed inappropriately, which includes but is not limited to, casual clothing, excessive jewelry, or incorrect footwear, will not be allowed to participate in class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e7c5cdbaf996893d3be091a199412570\"><strong>Representing the Studio<\/strong>: Students are expected to present themselves in a manner that reflects positively on Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio. This includes maintaining the proper attire and grooming standards both inside and outside of the studio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-38e7eded57c6a95cdbc4286636bee292\"><strong>Non-Compliance<\/strong>: Students who fail to adhere to the attire policy will be given a reminder. Battu Brise will not be held liable or responsible for children waiting to be fetched before and after class. If a child needs to wait, they are to wait in the studio room with me and parents are to collect the child from the studio room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Student hereby consent that they are in good health and consent to all the protocols and will either dance or exercise at their own risk, renouncing any and all claims against the studio that may arise from any source of personal injury, loss or damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Accidents do happen however the student, dancers, parent, guardian release responsibility from Battu Brise from any causes of actions, claims, demands now and in future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Students, dancers, parents, guardians will not hold Battu Brise liable for any personal injury Battu Bris\u00e9 and Haleigh van Rooyen will not be held liable for any damages or losses occurred these include but not limited to injuries, scratches, scratches, bruises, sprains, strains, broken bones, dislocations, concussions or death, damages or loss to your private property which may occur on the premise before, during or after classes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9b20be9ac8342f8abcb9e4b4d8b0fb25 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 You hereby agree to obey all the protocols and take full responsibility for your behavior in addition to any damages that may be caused to the facility utilized by Battu Brise. <br>\u2022 Battu Bris\u00e9 will not be responsible for students outside of their class time. We encourage parents or guardians to walk their child in and to collect their child and walk them out of class when their class is finished. We are very sensitive to our students safety, however we are not responsible for students before and after class. We are not an aftercare center, please fetch your child as soon as the class is finished. <br>\u2022 If you are more than 15 minutes late to collect your child and you have not communicated with Haleigh van Rooyen you will be charged a &#8220;baby-sitting&#8221; fee of R50.00 for every 15 minutes you are late<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contract Renewal &amp; Acceptance of Terms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Renewal of your contract in the new year automatically confirms your acceptance of Battu Bris\u00e9\u2019s Terms &amp; Conditions, including the indemnity clause and any updates or changes made to the Terms &amp; Conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-db00c04c32ccc44a9447791b717187ee is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>PRIVATE LESSONS<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-91c76d63315def53d6257bcfc7079692 wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Private lessons are available upon request between student and Haleigh van Rooyen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Termination of private lesson requires 1 full calendar months\u2019 notice and fees to be paid in full <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Termination of private lessons may not be done withing the first 3 months of entering the private lessons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Termination is to be given in writing, SMS\u2019s, phone calls, WhatsApp\u2019s, Band messages, Telegram messages and message on our website will not be accepted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Registration and re-registration fees are still applicable <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Classes are available in person and online \u2013 for more information contact Haleigh <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Invoices are sent monthly via email or included in the general class invoices <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Communication is done via email and Whatsapp or Telegram and a private Band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Student is entitled to 1 group pilates class a week as part of the private class enrolment <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Cash payments to be in a seal envelope with full name and surname, date and amount enclosed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 EFT payments must be made by the 5th of every month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Late payment is subject to a R200.00 collection fee and lesson suspension until the account is settled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Lesson is arranged for definite times and availability of Haleigh van Rooyen and the venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Lessons are to be cancelled 24 hours prior to lesson, if not you will still be charged for the lesson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-135e66f9e63d90a5d30c5b592b4876bd wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Unforeseen circumstance such as family and or personal emergencies are exempt from this rule at managements discretion.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d48c69d4c0358c9c9062f794a93c4326 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>DEFAMATION<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-614db3132b341ecc9aaf3ba3b2d58fcf wp-block-paragraph\">No student, parent or guardian of Battu Bris\u00e9 shall make public or publish any statement or comments that will likely damage the reputation of the studio or the teachers of the studio. If any of the above happens there will be server consequences and possible legal action taken of the parties involved.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fa51659fcefec52549b7e1d50e385f40 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>GENERAL RULES<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-101ccd1525a6c7419520d76b5d343e7e wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 No Balls or play items brough from home are allowed in dance class, no roughhousing or doing tricks without a teacher being present. <br>\u2022Students and families who use the play area, use it at their own risk, the venue nor the studio will be responsible for injuries or other. <br>\u2022 Keep hands and feet to yourself, respect the rights of other and the property we use for our classes.<br>\u2022 Battu Bris\u00e9 has a strict NO BULLYING policy and any student caught bullying others (verbal or physical or other) will be suspended with immediate effect, pending a formal meeting to discuss grounds for expulsion. <br>\u2022 No parents or family member are permitted to sit in during class unless it is a watching day that is has been arranged by the studio.
