{"id":740,"date":"2022-01-24T19:13:03","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T19:13:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/battubrise.com\/?page_id=740"},"modified":"2026-04-28T18:28:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T18:28:04","slug":"protocols","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/battubrise.com\/?page_id=740","title":{"rendered":"Terms and Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-a1e6e290d438dc63e2554d24b8269507\"><strong>FULL TERMS &amp; CONDITIONS OF BATTU BRISE PTY LTD &#8211; STUDIO POLICY &amp; CONTRACT POLICY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>COMMUNICATION WITH THE STUDIO IS ESSENTIAL<\/strong> \u2013 all communication to come to Haleigh van Rooyen via Whatsapp, Band or email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-454d81ef75daf7c4fa8a101fd1b216e0\"><strong>All formal communication must be directed to the studio owner, Haleigh van Rooyen, via email at info@battubrise.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bf98a49c95b4df191cbc4b0b765f28e6\">WhatsApp, Band, or verbal messages are not considered valid for account changes, absences, contract terminations or policy-related matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-24e4b4788dab93e420007bb80e542b4a\">Please allow 2\u20133 business days for a response.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a408e72d530e7b6c6a8a82749a0da7f1\">For urgent matters, email is still required to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1340865c15b0be8be98d5628440e6774\">Respectful, professional communication is expected at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ea96db1516b65349bc50e4ef0b412aa5\">It is the student&#8217;s, parents or guardian&#8217;s responsibility to read and understand the Terms and Conditions of the Studio below when registering for classes. Any points that need clarification please direct them in writing to Haleigh van Rooyen via email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7cbab7b187005142598477257947a172\">These regulations are in place to ensure the safety of students, maintain a clean studio space and help the functioning of the studio in an effective manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-51d266a5bf66f2b9d1043c70145a1fce is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1fec3c1df50ec5bacccfc6988ca085db\">\u2022 All students are allowed 1 free trail class a year thereafter enrolment on a permanent basis<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 A completed registration form is required when participating in classes. Failure to complete the registration form results in NO class attendance &#8211; applicable to new students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 There is an annual registration fee per family this is payable via eft or cash (if paying cash ensure money is placed in a sealed envelope, with the amount enclosed, handed to Haleigh van Rooyen) on the day of registration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Re-registration per family for current students is payable at the start of each year via eft or cash (if paying cash ensure money is in a sealed envelope, with the amount enclosed, handed to Haleigh van Rooyen) or if your account was closed and you would like to re-activate your account.&nbsp;Please note existing students have a rolling contract that renews each year unless notice is received. Renewal of your contract in the new year automatically confirms your acceptance of Battu Bris\u00e9\u2019s Terms &amp; Conditions, including indemnity and any updates or changes made to the Terms &amp; Conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-81837c7be28f081897177cba1752cc55\">\u2022 Paper contracts and digital contracts that are signed are equally as binding. All Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio contracts are legally binding. The studio does not operate on fixed-term agreements of 6, 12, or 18 months. Instead, all contracts are rolling contracts, as has been the policy since the studio\u2019s inception. This means that the agreement remains in effect continuously until proper written notice is given in accordance with the studio\u2019s official notice procedures.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9ac00cf961d1ea846fe5a532228b76c6\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-82997b4cb49396cc4c4ac454a984e8e6 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>CANELLATION<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d8d9cc0f4aeb6bc447ab73a7c4b737f\">\u2022 If you wish to terminate your enrolment <strong>1 FULL calendar months\u2019 notice<\/strong> is to be given in writing via email &amp; complete the opt-out form, along with that month&#8217;s fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-650410cdda9d7cd4a896f8b0cb1a0461\">\u2022 No phone calls, verbal messages, SMS\u2019s, WhatsApp\u2019s, Band Messages or messages on our website will be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Termination of enrolment at Battu Brise requires 1 FULL calendar months\u2019 notice and fees for the notice month any outstanding fees to be paid in FULL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-372703976636c02f7ff233855e5a4bbd\">\u2022 Termination at the end of the year: notice to be given in November. If notice is not given in November you are required to complete your notice period in January of the next year. The &#8220;opting-out&#8221; form needs to be completed to begin your termination of enrolment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Failure to read or respond to emails, WhatsApp messages, Band messages, or other official communications does not exempt you from payment obligations. Non\u2011communication does not constitute cancellation of your account. You remain liable until proper written notice and the opt\u2011out form are submitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5cf26cd6439bba3c157e4d181f48adc8 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>FEES, ADDITIONAL FEES &amp; PAYMENTS<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a782962ccbb029aecd461cf5351a0e6c\">\u2022 All invoices\/accounts will be emailed before the end of the month \u2013 please ensure you have given a valid email address, both parents details and email addresses are required for children, preteen and teens. If email address change or the inbox is full please provide an additional email address for the accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Fees are payable monthly and up front \u2013 payment is due no later than the 5th of the month &#8211; Class fees are paid strictly in advance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d858ef8d14b8fbbd31315b9aa0823858\">\u2022 Fees work like school fees, subscriptions or any club or gym memberships<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-08c0a64e3d8b6df5260120b8352f0613\">\u2022 Parents, Guardians and or Students are still financially responsible for the reserved classes regardless of attendance. Failure to inform us of non-attendance does not waive this responsibility. All communications regarding class attendance or concerns should be directed to Haleigh van Rooyen and not to the class teacher. You are welcome to contact Haleigh van Rooyen via WhatsApp for any issues or queries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"> \u2022 Fees are payable via EFT, CARD or CASH<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"> \u2022 If you are paying in cash, please ensure you have the Dancers full name and surname written on an enclosed envelope as well as the enclosed amount. Fees will not be accepted if it is not enclosed in an envelope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Late fees will result in an additional&nbsp;<strong>R400&nbsp;<\/strong>penalty&#8217;s fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Accounts that are 2 months late will be handed over for collection, the outstanding account holder will be liable for the expense incurred for this service.<\/strong> The student will be SUSPEND with immediate effect!  If fees are still not paid after the suspension the student will have their enrollment with the studio cancelled and the account will be handed over as mentioned above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 No refunds on classes missed or cancelled by students, parents or guardians 24 hours prior to class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Students\u2019 classes will be suspended until all outstanding fees are settled in full. We reserve the right to refuse to teach a student\/ child should their account be in arrears. Battu Bris\u00e9 reserves the right to refuse service, or ask any student to leave the school, at the owners\u2019 discretion, with or without cause. Dance schools are regulated by Consumer Protection BC and must abide by the regulations set out in the Consumer Protection Act. <br><br>Suspended students may not participate in classes and if they arrive for class they will be asked to sit and watch the class or leave. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Battu Bris\u00e9 works on a 12 months calendar and a 4-term year. Fees are payable in December and January as it is a 12 month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 There are NO classes in the school holiday or on public holidays \u2013 unless make up lessons are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022If my child cannot attend class\/classes, am I still obligated to pay for the entire month? Yes, all classes must be paid for, even if not attended.  No fees or part of fees will be refunded due to missed lessons&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-de2a626d276e33af2de30d445e9943e4\">\u2022 Take note there is an annual increase in fees that comes into effect on 1 January<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Monthly fees must be paid <strong>punctually and in full<\/strong> by the specified deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non\u2011payment of fees by the due date will result in pupils being prohibited from attending classes until outstanding amounts are settled.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Parents are required to ensure that all invoices (outlining monthly costs) and all statements (reflecting payments received) are properly received, reviewed, and retained as proof of payment.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e92ea756827ba65c8d30697eb9180565 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Banking Details for Battu Bris\u00e9<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fb031acb779425686620a83e9384cd51\">Bank: First National Bank<br>Account Name: Battu Brise PYT LTD<br>Account Number: 62929230069<br>Branch: Northgate<br>Reference:\u00a0<strong>Students Name and Surname<\/strong><br>Email address for Reference: accounts@battubrise.com<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e98a5d53f8de90313473b95ae4db63f2 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>ADDITIONAL FEES<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-34c816c800ede9e774711b97cbc53842\">\u2022 There are additional fees when it comes to examinations, concerts, festivals and competitions. There is a costume hire fee, as well as a hair and make-up if I (Haleigh van Rooyen) am asked to do hair and make-up. This is a restocking fee. This must be communicated well in advance, if assistance is needed for hair and make-up please ensure you contact Haleigh well in advance to ensure that a slot is booked for you via the google forms booking form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"> \u2022 Additional fees will be invoiced for extra classes for exams, competitions, festivals and year- end shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Communication for these events will be given in advance by Haleigh van Rooyen. It is the responsibility of the parents or persons in charge of the account to notify Haleigh van Rooyen in writing via email by a given date if you do not or can not participate in the above-described events. Failure to inform Haleigh van Rooyen will result in the parents or persons in charge of the account being held liable for the fees invoiced for any concerts, shows, exams or festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8b8690074180978c07be9a38856d4edd\">\u2022 Props and costume hire fees will be charged per outfit per performance<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2aca238daf438a7a47377c281b528de7 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>ACCOUNT FREEZING POLICY<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d50c323e2cb0659b8df9896ca997450c\">If a student is unable to attend classes for an extended period, their account may be frozen for a maximum of <strong>two consecutive months<\/strong> under the following strict conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b9f99ed007a3812a4be7392634060d74\">Medical freezes require supporting documentation and are subject to approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0f5f1ca53407af1791fdb5dd4b865afe\">All requests to freeze an ongoing account must be submitted in writing via email to <strong>info@battubrise.com<\/strong> no later than <strong>seven (7) calendar days prior to the commencement of the next billing cycle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests submitted after the billing cycle has begun, or requests made for the purpose of avoiding payment obligations, or while a student is undecided about continuing, <strong>will not be accepted<\/strong>. Such circumstances do not qualify for account freezing, and billing will proceed as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-99682ebb82310fb49d1406d03ae96cae\">Failure to comply with this policy will result in full liability for fees due under the agreed billing cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If no specific duration is indicated in the written request, the account will be frozen for <strong>one (1) full calendar month<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the initial month, the account will automatically be placed under <strong>review for a second month<\/strong>, after which billing will resume unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Termination During Freeze<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accounts may <strong>not<\/strong> be terminated while frozen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should a termination request be submitted during a freeze period, the account holder remains obligated to provide <strong>one (1) full calendar month\u2019s written notice<\/strong> and to settle all fees due for that notice period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment Liability<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Failure to comply with this policy will result in full liability for fees due under the agreed billing cycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Freezing an account does not exempt the account holder from fulfilling contractual obligations, including notice and payment requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bd5593bda5b60228a3c121e8c42f5e0a\">The request must include <strong>proof of payment of a R100.00 freeze administration fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-badbfff2734cd9cbb0ac571996b3f60f\"><strong>No freeze will be processed without this payment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9875c4f89ec4010fd875fa82e94a13bf\">Payment must be made to the studio\u2019s standard banking details with the reference: <em>[Student Name] \u2013 Freeze Request<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9829b7bbbd14ba34b913f1a2025bf32b\"><strong>Outstanding balances must be paid in full<\/strong> before the freeze is approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4cae0652962582a9d665212665e013e4\"><strong>During the freeze:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-113461bb98c9088b055dc2f72c95c886\">No new fees will be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a1ec822c75cf1f4e573a1237d290b89a\">The student forfeits their class spot unless a confirmed return date is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a4e67bc1520ccc68e5d146cf93216af9\">Participation in studio events, rehearsals, or performances is not permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ca2f70f78a8b2dd9efc2e374ac42b610\">If no return date is provided within the two-month freeze period, the account will be reviewed before termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a60d704bc751da81b67a701d7b75d4b5\">Re-enrolment will require a <strong>new registration<\/strong> and payment of the <strong>standard registration fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3784d046c36aefa192299a96064c12f0\"><strong>Freezing is permitted once per calendar year<\/strong>, unless due to a documented medical emergency.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6226fb7212e75b58653c3b5e1fb8288a is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>LATE COMMUNICATION POLICY<\/strong> &#8211; BILLING &amp; FREEZING<\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-956a550cb965c9e0a58791ce2eecd7f1\">If a freeze request is received <strong>after the billing cycle has already begun<\/strong>, the account will remain <strong>active and fully billable<\/strong> for that month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cc1fa069fc9b40925fe9778fc35fd2ce\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a95a5053265effc822d4de383498bb0c\"><strong>No retroactive freezes will be granted.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a9dad588ab71f2378189856b46c7e93d\">The student remains liable for all fees invoiced prior to the freeze request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6926635ebf98b528e8b0d9e65169d937\">The freeze will only take effect <strong>from the following billing cycle<\/strong>, provided all conditions above are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ea29ece82076a6527aeb47c3b819d458\"><strong>No exceptions will be made.<\/strong> This policy ensures fairness to all clients and protects the studio\u2019s operational integrity.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-924448c7f82d24039d0b2cc1d6e5ec50 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>END OF YEAR SHOWCASES, FESTIVALS, CONCERTS &amp; COMPETITIONS<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b2b5b89f84cea3fbc687143224279f1a\">\u2022 There are additional fees when it comes to concerts, festivals and competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-af19b741e49fff88351537f340cf49ac\">\u2022 All students need to complete the commitment form to confirm they will or will not be participating in concerts, showcases, competitions and festivals. By completing and digitally signing you are agreeing to the commitment and costing involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">\u2022 <strong><em>Any and all Entry Fees for Exams or competitions need to be paid up front and in full &#8211; No entry fee no participation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 There is a costume hire fee. The costume hire fee is paid in advance. No fees paid no costume. <br>All costumes rented from Battu Bris\u00e9 must be returned in good condition after each performance. Failure to do so will result in &#8220;damage&#8221; fees being added to your account. Any missing accessories will be added to the account as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-64f326a1c5beec690954d69d79e10a5c\">\u2022 Please note if students do not have the correct stockings a hired pair from the studio will be lent to the student along with ballet shoes &#8211;these items will be charged separately to costume hire. if these items are damaged in any way by the student, it is the students responsibility to replace or pay the full amount for the item to be replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Hair and make-up fee is charged if I (Haleigh van Rooyen) am asked to do hair and make-up. This is a restocking fee. This needs to be communicated well in advance, if assistance is needed for hair and make-up, please ensure you contact Haleigh well in advance to ensure that a slot is booked for you by completing our bookings form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 If you do not wish to take part in competitions, festivals and concerts please notify Haleigh van Rooyen in writing (no WhatsApp\u2019s, Telegram or SMS\u2019s will be accepted) &#8211; please note a due date will be given in advance for communication to participate or not, if you have failed to communicate after the due date you will still be charged for costume hire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Festivals and Competitions are done every second year <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Year-end Concerts are done annually. An 85% &#8211; 100% attendance is required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Haleigh van Rooyen has full authority to withdraw any candidate who fails to attend 80% of the rehearsals when preparing for year-end concerts, competitions and festival or if the students account has not been settled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">\u2022 Competition, festival and Year- end candidates are eligible to be placed in the following category soloist, duets, trios and quartets. Please ensure you are on our Whatsapp and band groups &amp; check your emails to receive this information. Any changes will be communicated in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a studio, we work to coordinate our classes around the wide range of extra\u2011mural activities offered by schools (such as swimming galas, netball matches, and other events), and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents are encouraged to communicate directly with <strong>Haleigh van Rooyen<\/strong> should there be specific days or times when pupils are unable to attend dance classes. Every effort will be made to support attendance where possible. By enrolling at Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio, clients agree to the following terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cf5f92aa80e9fdea10d41f56bf82b9f2\"><strong>Non-Attendance<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e3b5a6abf3d303c30b689c159579270e\">Fees are charged for all scheduled classes, whether or not the student attends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4577dc1774823a0cb32b428ef08c44ad\">Absences due to illness, travel, personal commitments, or other reasons do not exempt the student from payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-42eb271518708bce0ebee284d8a54d78\">The studio is not obligated to offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for missed sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7f8c25722d114e635f82a585934440da\"><strong>Substitute Teachers<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-aa87f0399ef3190eee3268b7b4648bdc\">If the regular instructor is unavailable, a qualified substitute will be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5f3f65e45f00e2b73b3f366b2b3ceaca\">Substitute-led classes are considered fulfilled and billable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4a0bd044202cfcabae39de36bc6d0f70\">Refusal to attend a class due to a substitute does not qualify for a refund or credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-25c368122e39cb819fca97189171f5a0\"><strong>Studio Fulfilment Clause<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e38e56eeab637261d28be93d73c5c8ee\">The studio\u2019s responsibility is to provide a scheduled class with a qualified instructor in a safe, professional environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f1b51f0f86a919c967eee0f865ca7661\">Once this obligation is met, the class is considered delivered\u2014regardless of individual attendance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ad8a5b7d2948f6e54a1a9ce562b4455a\">Class content may vary based on instructor availability, student needs, or curriculum adjustments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c04d3bc0298e04567cc0ddedf73a2cac\"><strong>Performance &amp; Rehearsal Attendance<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ce4aded94d2e2f16ce93cf2390cca27a\">Students who miss multiple classes or rehearsals may be removed from performance pieces at the discretion of the studio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d83507648d4fa5dceccc34c45c3b0cf9\">No refunds will be issued for performance fees if removal is due to non-attendance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e070aedb21ac550018638069b5fea65d\">Teacher Substitution &amp; Curriculum Flexibility<br><strong>Instructor &amp; Curriculum Adjustments<\/strong><br>The studio reserves the right to assign substitute teachers or adjust class content as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5060732c3250b101b1599755f0964166\">These changes do not affect billing or class validity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-23dd0c9fb3c9954e55b9252578b84978\">All instructors are qualified and vetted by the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-72b141113d8aff0a2766fa2f47f4e55e\">Curriculum may be adapted based on student needs, performance schedules, or studio priorities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regrettably, parents are not permitted to observe classes during the regular term. External Studio Participation<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7005df584626650a71c4cd2f80aa50c1\">Scholarships, bursaries, and financial aid are awarded with the expectation of loyalty and commitment to Battu Bris\u00e9 Dance Studio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a1897b54a60f21ff9c2ec4229e6792f3\">Should a student begin training with another studio and actively participate in their classes, the scholarship, bursary, or financial aid will be subject to review and may be withdrawn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-26c8acfffe1e915f6281e6f95139b877\">Students are permitted to audition for companies or professional opportunities; however, the studio must be made aware of any auditions taking place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-89778a8a21cf2becd476e144e7a652c7\">If participation places the studio in direct competition with another dance school, the scholarship, bursary, or financial aid will be reconsidered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-48468d8d77d3cf37d0f88cf6e9257816\">7. <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Financial Responsibility<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-718a1431eb4cd3b9b2e28f26a43c87d0\">All financial obligations remain with the parent\/guardian.
