To help our dancers feel confident and prepared for their upcoming ballet exams, Battu Brisé Dance Studio will be hosting Mock Exams on _________(TBC).
These sessions simulate the real exam environment and are essential for building readiness, refining technique, and easing nerves.
🧠 Why Mock Exams Matter
Mock exams are designed to mirror the structure and atmosphere of the official RAD ballet exams. They help dancers build confidence, receive feedback, and refine their performance under exam-like conditions. Attendance is essential to ensure readiness and eligibility for the final exam.
👨👩👧 Parents & Guests
Parents are warmly welcome to attend the mock exams and may film or photograph their child’s performance. We ask that all filming be done discreetly and respectfully, so dancers can stay focused and the atmosphere remains calm.
Please note:
Younger siblings are best left at home to minimize distractions.
Filming is permitted only during your child’s session.
Kindly avoid flash photography or loud commentary.
✅ What to Bring & Wear
- Ballet tights and shoes must be packed and ready.
- Leotards will be provided at the studio.
- All ballet shoes must have elastics sewn on—no exceptions.
- Character shoes (with elastics sewn on) are required for dancers from RAD Grade 1 upward.
- Pupils must arrive in their graded uniform, neat and complete.
⏰ Arrival & Punctuality
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to get changed and warm up.
- No schedule changes can be accommodated.
- Punctuality is essential—late arrivals may not be permitted to participate.
- Missing the mock exam will result in withdrawal from the actual exam.
👨👩👧 Studio Etiquette
- Kindly avoid bringing younger siblings to minimize distractions.
- All regular classes will continue as normal.
