Free Trial Class Policy & Additional Info
Please read the information below carefully to ensure a smooth, respectful experience.
Clarity is kindness. These policies help us protect your dancer’s experience and our studio’s integrity.
At Battu Brisé , we are committed to providing a high-quality experience for all our students and instructors. To ensure fair access and efficient scheduling, we have implemented the following policy for free trial classes:
📋 Booking Requirement
You may not register another child without their parent/guardian’s contact details.
Cousins, friends, and family friends must submit their own forms.
Booking is essential—no walk-ins permitted.
Why this matters: Accurate bookings help us plan class sizes, ensure safety, and maintain respectful communication with families.
🗓️ Trial Class Schedule & Additional Information
Free trials are scheduled during:
Once your form is submitted, we’ll confirm your trial date via email.
The last week and first week of each month.
- You’ll receive a calendar invite via email with:
- Student’s name & surname
- Class name and time
- Instructor’s name
- Studio address & parking info
- If you don’t receive the invite, please check your spam/trash folders or contact us to resend.
Please wait for confirmation before arriving—this ensures we’re ready to welcome you properly.

We kindly ask that all formal communication be sent via email—not WhatsApp or social media.
✅ Attendance Confirmation
Once your trial class has been scheduled, please complete the Confirmation of Attendance form below. This helps us prepare for your arrival and ensures your spot is secured.
🔁 Need to Reschedule?
We understand that life happens—but we also value clear communication and respect for our time.
- You may reschedule your free trial up to 3 times, provided there is a valid reason and you communicate directly with Haleigh via email or WhatsApp.
- If you miss your trial without notifying us, or fail to respond to confirmation requests, your free trial will be forfeited.
- After three reschedules or a missed trial without communication, you will need to book a paid drop-in class to attend.
We’re committed to offering a welcoming experience, but we also ask for mutual respect and accountability. These policies help us protect our team’s time and ensure fairness for all dancers.

🚪 Arrival & Studio Etiquette
Our studio is a safe, focused space for dancers to grow. These guidelines help us protect that environment.
New students may be walked into the hall to see the space.
Parents may wait outside or in their cars—the main gate will be closed during class for safety.
Dancers are collected at the black gate after class.
If you need access during class, ring the bell and a staff member will assist.
If someone else is dropping off your dancer, please ensure they understand and follow studio rules.
Non-compliance may result in trial cancellation.
Videos of the venue are available on our socials and via the link below—especially helpful for younger dancers.

🚗 Drop-Off Reminders
If someone else is dropping your dancer or student off:
- Please ensure they are fully informed of studio rules and procedures.
- Non-compliance with arrival or safeguarding policies may result in cancellation of the trial class.
We appreciate your support in maintaining a safe, respectful studio environment for all dancers and staff.
👥 No Spectators in Class
To minimize distractions and uphold our safeguarding policy:
- Spectators are not permitted inside the studio during class.
- New students may be walked into the hall to see the space before class begins.
- Parents are welcome to wait out front or in their cars during class.
- The main gate will be closed during sessions for safety.
- Dancers will be collected at the black gate at the end of class.
- If you need access to the venue during class, please ring the bell and a staff member will assist you.
- We host watching days at the end of each Term where parents are invited in to watch the class & their child’s progression
These boundaries help us maintain a calm, focused atmosphere for all dancers.
🚗Parking Information
Toddlers, Kids & Teens: Parking available outside the church in the afternoons.
Adult Classes: Secure parking available in late afternoons/evenings.
Parking is at your own risk.
Secure parking opens/closes at the end of each class and 5 minutes before the next.
If you arrive during a class, WhatsApp Haleigh at the gate and wait patiently.
👗What to wear?
Tiny Tots, Kids & Teens: Leggings and a top with socks if you don’t have ballet gear.
Adults: Leggings, top, and socks.
Ballet Classes: Ballet shoes preferred; socks allowed if you don’t have shoes yet.
Modern Classes: Socks or barefoot.
Remove all jewellery and tie hair neatly off the face
📆Timetable & Terms
Classes are based on age, not school grade, following Royal Academy of Dance guidelines.
Kids classes follow the South African Government’s 4-Term calendar.
Timetable is updated before each new term.
Trial Class Duration:
