Ballet Shoes

Ballet Shoes are needed for Twinkle Tots Ballet, Pre-primary & Primary Ballet classes

Nursery Schools do not need ballet shoes – if the dancers have ballet shoes or you would like to buy ballets shoes please pop in at the below stores for shoes.

A list of reputable dance stores have been provided below should you need anything new such
as shoes or stockings. I would suggest getting the items sooner rather than later when everyone
is rushing to get the necessary items. Some allow for online purchases.
🩰Dance Gear/ Dance Exchange – 271 Beyers Naude Drive, Blackheath ; 0114768363
🩰That’s Dancing – Shop 7, Kingfisher Dr, Fourways, 0114652906
🩰Dance Boutique – 26 Bradford Rd, Bedfordview, 0116227361

Hair

All pupils require the necessary basic hair accessories. I have attached below a link on how to do the hair for the concert Please can we ask that the girls have enough hair clips and pins, hair nets ect, as the studio can not keep sponsoring on the day because there is not enough in the girls bags.

If we have to sponsor hair there will be an extra cost of R80.00 per student hair. Students have to arrive 2 hours before the time. If you bring your own hair accessories we will do it and the additional charge is R40.00

These items can be bought from Dischem, Clicks, Temu, Shein (if you are ordering from Shein or Temu please ensure that you have got enough time for it to get here in time)

Make- up

All pupils require the necessary basic mae-up. I have attached below a link on how to do the make-up for the concert.

If the studio has to do make-up students have to arrive 2 hours before the time and there is an additional charge of R80.00 if we have to use our products for make-up. If you bring your own makeup we will do it and the additional charge is R40.00

These items can be bought from Dischem, Clicks, Temu, Shein (if you are ordering from Shein or Temu please ensure that you have got enough time for it to get here in time)

Dancers are to please bring with RED lipstick and we will apply it before they go on – this is to save the costumes from the lipstick stains

Please remove all Nail Polish and Earrings Before the dancers ARRIVE at the studio

All dancers can arrive in a gown or leggings and a zip up jackets so that hair and makeup are not ruined in trying to change the girls.

The Fellowship Hall will be used for a changing room – we are limited to space and ask that no parents sit in the changing room – if you do you will be asked to leave, this is for security reasons as well.

Ballet Bag

Please can ALL students bring a bag with them with all their ballet items as well as snack and cold drink that is not messy or sticky.

Please can we encourage that the STUDENTS NAME & SURNAME is put somewhere on the bag and items so no items are lost or misplaced.

The studio nor the teachers will be responsible for missing items.
