Battu Brisé Tiny Tots classes are beautiful and developmentally appropriate introduction to ballet for children that teaches them the basic concept of classical ballet, movement and appreciation of music. Battu Brisé builds the dancers confidence and self-esteem and pass on our love and passion of dance through during the most magical time during a tiny ballerina life.
Ballet classes for our Tiny Tots groups, is all about FUN FUN FUN!!!!
Battu Brisé Tiny tots lessons introduce the important ballet basics as well as encouraging imagination and creative movement. During our lessons we gently include the basic introduction to feet and arm positions, as well as center and cross floor exercises. We focus on self-expression and interpretation as the tiny ballerinas use props (such as wands, scarves, wings) to dramatize different styles of music.
fees and class policy
Our annual registration fee per family is payable on Registration day. This payment is non-refundable.
All fees are paid on a monthly basis and are due by the 5th of each month.
Fees are charged over an 11 month period from February – December each year.
Each month must be paid in full regardless of attendance . NO refunds on classes cancelled or classes missed
Siblings enrolled get a 5% discount on their monthly fees.
Classes are run in accordance with the Government school terms. Exact term dates can be found on our website www.battubrise.com. There are no classes on a public holiday or during school holidays – unless we schedule a catch up class – you will be notified in advance.
Please can I ask that any medical conditions be disclosed to me before commencing with our ballet classes.
We require 1 calendar month’s written notice and opt-out form to be completed in full along with that months fees and for the account to be paid in FULL.
Students with accounts outstanding by 1 month will receive a penalty fee and have the child suspended from classes with immediate effect until the account is paid in FULL.

Timetable & Terms
Weekly Ballet at Schools
A 20 – 30 minute lesson will be given weekly.
Lessons will be done during the hours that the school and studio have agreed too – more info on times and days can be found on the website or via the band app.
Admin & School Holidays
Battu Brisé Accountants invoice the parents directly – no additional admin for the school.
All questions ballet or accounts related are to please be directed to Haleigh van Rooyen and not to the school
Battu Brisé follows the government school terms. No lessons are given during school holidays or public holidays.

Your tiny ballerina is more than welcome to wear any “princess dress or skirt” that they would like. If you would like for them to wear a pink leotard, skirt and ballet shoes to class they are more than welcome too, but this is not compulsory. You can purchase the ballet leotards, skirt and shoes from our Dance Shop – Battu Brisé Dance shop, Woolworths, Mr Price Sports.

Concerts
Nursery Schools join in with the studios annual concert or showcase. If the nursery school does their own concert then some years we join with them.
There are extra costs involved when it comes to our concerts such as costume hire, certificates and tickets sold for our concerts. All this information is communicated well in advance for everyone
